I was talking with my wife tonight. She informed me that her father just got a ticket today (details not needed), and that they (his wife) were considering disputing it, but had heard that there is a new by-law that allows police officers to be contacted by phone instead of having to show up in person in court.
They live in North Vancouver.
I don't need any moral police comments thank you, I have read through enough of those threads already.
My concern: Does anybody know if this is true. Not "I heard...", I would like a response from anyone with documented or factual information.
