Yesterday I took my gixxer to RMR to get the suspension dialed in. I had heard nothing but good things about them so I thought they'd be good. The guys did a few measurements and started adjusting and were very helpful. Explained everything too me as they were going along. I took it for a spin and it definitely handled better. Bumps in the road didn't bother it much at all, just seems like the rear wheel was firmly planted and wasn't going anywhere. Then brought it back and the guy recommended I sink my forks a little bit (he said the forks on the gixxers aren't long enough and a lot of racers apparently sink them so the tops are halfway down the top clamp.) I sunk them til they were flush and then took it for another spin, went through a couple nice chicanes and wow what a difference! It handled really well, tracked nicely and just hung in the corner like it wasn't going anywhere else. When exiting the corner, rolling on the throttle was the best part; it kept a good track and I could use more throttle to exit than the stock suspension providing a big smile and a nice rush!
All in all, I was very happy with it. And for $50 for suspension and $20 to adjust the fork position, it wasn't bad at all. I definitely recommend getting yours suspension setup correctly for you, I'm sure you'll notice a very nice improvement.
