I have a Suzuki GS750E which has from today evening stopped starting up when I go through the procedure of check engine kill switch, choke, clutch in and hit the starter button. This has happened to me before but it usually gets remedied by turning the handle bar all the way to the left and hitting the starter button. But that doesn't work anymore. It is a loose contact but I have no idea how to trace it. I did some tinkering around the starter button - and that seems to be fine. So I think it has to do with the clutch-in check circuit. The problem is the wire leads down below the tank. Does anyone here know how I can get the tank off a 84 Suzuki GS750E? I can probably do it after a bit of observation and intuition but it would definitely be easier if someone gives me pointers on what I should be doing - or if I should take the tank off at all.
Thanks a lot!
