Very few riders are wearing earplugs these days and I am even more suprised at how many riders are wearing ipods. Riders should very carefully consider what they are doing with their hearing while on bikes. I read an article in Cycle Canada in the late 1980's explaining the permanent damage that we suffer from the high frequency noise that helmets produce in the wind. I've told alot of riders that earplugs almost eliminate fatigue and increase your concentration and they had no idea. What have you considered or done to protect your hearing while riding streetbikes? What information have you seen endorsing or promoting ear plug use in motorcycling?
