Yesterday our brilliant Prime Minister, Jean Chretien signed the Kyoto Accord. This means that we will have to significantly reduce our greenhouse gas emissions. Apparently it won't take affect until Russia signs too, but if and when they do, what will the reprecussions be? Will we still get the same cars and bikes as the states (other than California)? Or will we have detuned versions? I'm worried. Most of the provinces were against signing (expecially Alberta), but dumbass Chretien signed anyway. The States refuses to sign, cuz they just don't care. I respect them for that. I'm hoping motorcycles won't get affected, but look at California's laws. I don't understand why anyone would worry about motorcycle emissions when they make up such a small percentage of the total greenhouse gas emissions. I think that they should look at industrial emissions first and then maybe cars like the Suburban or the 8.3L V10 Viper. When all those are emitting what our 125-1800cc bikes are emitting, then they can start thinking about bikes, but until then, leave us alone.
