Make sure to clean the snotsicles out of your helmet before you wear it again.
    Log off and ride.

They say it's best to keep your mouth closed and have people think you're an idiot than to open it and prove you are.

I really enjoy my rides no matter the weather. On mornings like today there is even the added adrenaline of negotiating frosty surfaces. I guess I'm just a junkie!

Hmm... I've just proven I'm an idiot and a junkie!

Yes, I do have a cage and a choice. Warm, dry riding gear too!

I'm just here for the intelligent conversation.
I was almost taken out today on more than one occasion, and I have a very short commute. I'll stick with the car, but to each their own!

Fuuuuuuuck, I nearly lowsided my bike today.

The road wasn't even particularly icy where my back end slid out. I had just enough momentum and my leg stuck out to right up my bike while I was still moving. Must have hit on the grease strip with a slip of the throttle there by accident.

Saw one dual sport out there, one scooter and one sportbike out there along my commute.

But shiiit. The back lane and side streets were bloody icy... . As I am writing this in the office, I see another scooter as I look out the window. Those crazy scooterists

BTW, did anyone see the news lastnight? They interviewed a guy on a sportbike who was riding in the snow (but pulled over and walked his bike), on the highway. Man that guy (idiot) was crazy.

It wasn't me, I don't do it till I install winter tires

The roads were pretty ok last night, but chunks of snow / ice probably fallen from vehicles got me alerted all the time.

Weather forecast for tomorrow will be icy and cold and below zero in the morning. I think it'll be high time I park the bike and take alternate transportation to work. Should have done that today.

Left the house @ 9:30. Was still very icy along the back lanes but once onto the main roads, it was just fine.

It's almost exactly this time last year that the snow started too .... (26th Nov)

I rode in this morning. It was nice, but not as interesting as riding home last night.
