OK here is the story. I borrowed my car to a good friend from Germany who visited Vancouver. Sure enough he runs a red light at 5.30 am.
So I got a letter with two tickets and a 167$ fine.
We are good friends and we can work out the money thing. But here is the question: Should I dispute and say it wasn’t me or just pay it?
It says something that if I pay I plead guilty and they add that to the owner’s record as a conviction. I don’t want to have more offences on my file. It also says that they will not add points since it’s not clear who the driver was. There is also an option that I can tell them who the driver was and the ticket can be transfered. But that only seems to work for ppl with a current address in BC.
I did a search here and found this info: http://www.bcsportbikes.com/forum/sh...d+light+ticket
But I am still unsure how that really works. Meanwhile the ICBC system changed too.
