Well it's begining to get to be that time again here in the Okanogan, (OK OK so it's not quite time yet, but as long as I see some dry pavement I'm happy) so I phone my local insurance company inquiring about my private insurance I was to lazy as well as to busy to get into last year for the new Gixxer750. So, last year, with a declared value of 13.5K soup to nuts coverage 2mill liability I was paying roughly 201/month through good'ol ICBC. Which is rather steep yet a rather small price to pay to get what I get out of riding. ANYWAYS, so I make my application for private insurance, I have no accidents, 43% with Roadstar, 1 Ticket in the last 10 years 30yrs old, Class 6 for 14 years now, the bike being locked with a chain as well as alarm (ignition kill/tilt sensor etc) and it being parked in my living room while being stored. With the identical insurance heh and a declared value of 15k my official quote was $565.00 for the WHOLE year, that will include storage when I take it off the road.
Can we say PHUCK YEAAAA!?
