Princess Auto is always out of stock of these damn things and Home Crapo wants $67.19 (including tax) for the Irwin Unibit #9.
Now, I am not saying the Irwin Unibit #9 is not a better piece than the cheaper Step Drill Bits, but I am just as likely to forget the damn things as have them wear out, so a few cheap ones might be a better bet, as long as they can repetitively cut holes in 3/16”- 1/4” metal.
Is there a local place that sells good-quality cheap Step Drill Bits?

Boss Tools (2825 Lauzon Pkwy, Unit 208, Windsor, Ontario 1 800 625 5032) sells one for $15 but it’s a mail order hassle, and I’m not sure how it would stand up compared to the Irwin Unibit #9 (which is pretty much the industry standard for Electricians).
