Now anyone that knows me knows I love my Ducati. That's cause I love my Ducati! But alas I'm looking at selling it for an enduro bike. I got into riding for long trips, you know the whole I wanna go on an adventure thing. Of course I got lost in the fast sexy bikes are amazing.
Don't get me wrong they are, but with a steady relationship and now doing 90% of my riding 2-Up I've found that a Ducati 749 should not have a backseat cause it's useless. an hour of riding 2-Up is like having someone hit you in the wrists and back with a sledge hammer. I want to keep both, but buying property is a far bigger priority at this point in my life, but I love riding way too much to just forget about it. Enter the ENDURO.
I've been looking at a KTM 690 Duke and a BMW F800GS, both of these are extremely new so I know I'm reaching here, but anyone ridden one? or done lots of research on them and save me time cause I'm a lazy bastard?
Now before you reply, I know the KLR is a great enduro bike, but lets be honest it's ugly as fuck. I can't go from riding on the back of a unicorn to riding a 1 eyed hunchback troll.
I don't want to spend more money than I've already put into the Ducati so I'm keeping it around that price range, and I don't want anything used with 45,000km's either like the bullshit 24,000$ bikes at John Valk.
Also last note, does anyone know if you can trade in a Canadian Bike to a US dealer? It was originally purchased in the US... I know Fish has a big post about this, and I have read it and don't remember anything about that and I know he's gonna give me shit about this (rightfully so) but again I'm lazy as fuck, sue me ok?
I love you all.
