I haven't yet found any outstanding Chinese restaurants in that area, but I like going to have $5 lunch at Peking Restaurant. The tea is free. I always go there on weekdays, but they said they have lunch specials 7 days a week. They also have $2 dim sum, but stick with $5 lunch specials.

Wah Wing in PoCo (not North Burnaby, I know) is by far the best place I have been to. I live 3 hours away and still make the trek down for dinner now and again.

The trip to Happy Valley on the Lougheed Highway near Boundary on the Vancouver side is worthwhile. I have not heard of any decent Chinese restaurants in the North Burnaby area...

+1 for Mr. Ho's. Really good food and reasonably priced.

Not that it's bad but they're more like the Denny's of Chinese food.

Mr Ho is super cool too. He always smiles, and their p.o.s.(point of sales) is Linux based..

Chong Quing, or something like that.

    Damn fine szechuan there.

Closer to Burnaby at Kingsway and Rupert(i think) is Chilli Pepper House. Chinese chef, born and raised in India and the cooking reflects that. Their Hot and Sour soup is some of the best I've had in Vancouver.
