...for a 2005 CBR600RR? Ive heard that Two Bro's, Jardine, and Yoshi are the dominant choices for this category....Just wanted some opinions, maybe sound clips?
Sorry, I didn't specify. I mean best for gains and sound. I don't want to ride a lawnmower haha. I have heard clips of a couple two bro's pipes on youtube and loved that throaty growl that they have. Any input is well appreciated
jardine's are made fro honda's sound sick. or you could be like everyone else in vancouver and get an Akro and hang at starbucks with you polished shinny bike.
haha but i heard that akro's are a great quality pipe? you cant say its a poser pipe just because everyone respects the quality . But i do agree ive seen many at the local starbucks.
i just checked out thw two bros website and was wondering what the difference was between the M2 V.A.L.E and the M5 V.A.L.E? cause they're both offered for my bike.
hey. luckily my cousin is service manager at a local bike shop with a dyno. my bike is a gsxr. he dynod a yoshi, jardine, akron and micron (clip ons) on my bike and the micron gave me the best gains...i always had yoshis on my other gixxers. the micron sounds really good, kinda growly. i thought the jardine sounded the best myself but i went with the micron and love it
i had a 2 bros on my 750, but have since replaced it with an arrow. i had 2 different mid-pipes and the vale 2 can, the shorter mid was deafening to anyone within a mile radius.
if you ride to places like the north cascades (pictured below), it really wear's you out over the long haul. however, if your rides are short and you like to run at high rpm's with a rock wall on one side, it's the can for you.
I have a Boz Brothers slip-on (race version) on my track bike, sounds great, but can't recommend it for the street, just too loud.
They make a street version too, though.
lots of good cans out there. My buddy picked up his jardine from www.hammythecanman.com and saved a lot of money compared to RMS. It's a little too loud for me. Hindle and graves makes nice cans. It's about personal preference
I personally like Arrow. The fit and finish is outstanding they sound amazing and the power is good. Don't expect much in power from any pipe though unless you're getting a high perforance air filter and a power commander to fine tune everything.
So many wicked opinions, and im all for ear sexual sounding pipes because i love a throaty growl on a sport bike, but if the two bro's and jardine pipes are gonna make me deaf if im riding for more than an hour....?
haha yah, i have been frequenting those youtube pages alot. They only make me want all of them... haha
