What eateries to avoid.
My worst experience was McDodds Family Restaurant in Little Fort. I was not on a trip and not on my bike but we took my mom, who was visiting from Holland, there for a "nice" dinner. While we were "enjoying" or food, my (at that time) wife and I had something like: "Mmmm, this is not quite what we had hoped for." My mom, on the other hand, started really complaining after a couple bites. We tried to tell her that this was Canadian stile and different than her Dutch taste she was used to. Every country, every culture has their own specific flavour, that's all the excitement in eating different food. A little later she complained again and half way her plate she insisted that I really should have a bite from here dish. She was right, it was disgusting and considering that my wife and I were not impressed with our food either, the place really looked like one of "Ramsey's Nightmare Kitchens".
So, this is one place you should avoid when you're on High Way 5 North. Now let me know your "restaurant" I should pass on my next trip.
