greetings everyone - little story i want to pass along.
in Sept 2007 i got a new pair of Joe Rocket Ballistic 5.0 pants
they have been great till a few issues started to develop
1st i noticed the seat area let water infiltrate during periods of heavy rain
then a few months later the fly zipper broke - annoying but could live with that because there is
also a velcro closure
next a few weeks later the zipper on the right front pocket breaks - ok this is a pain- i need that zipper
checked with a couple of tailors but they said they couldnt fix it
sent an email to Joe Rocket to express my disappointment - got a reply back asking where i got the pants, what size
and if i still had proof of purchase. Wrote back with that info (i had since found out about a 1yr warranty) and i asked
about how to send the pants in for repairs - got this reply today
"In any case, what Iím going to do is replace the pants for you. Iíve taken the liberty of ordering you a new pair of pants. I should receive them next week. (We donít carry stock of our product so I have to order it.) Once I receive them Iíll sent them out to you. Anyway, Iím going to replace your current pant with the new Ballistic 7.0 which isnít currently available in Canada, so I think youíll be the first to have them here. Iíll need your mailing address including phone number for the courier service. "
