    old spark plug condition...

So I changed my spark plugs today, getting the bike ready for the summer and when I took the old ones out, they were all a bit "wet" and had some sort of brown oily residue on the thread. All 4 were of a similar condition.

Any Ideas what might have caused that ? Bike is fine, exhaust color and content is normal too, doesn't "eat" oil or "drink" coolant...but bike is at 62,000 kms...01 ZX6R.

Not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

Check yer bikes' exhaust pipe. The end (iside :-) should be greyish colour and Dry..after a good half hour's ride at some speed (charitable caveat as IMO it should be of the described condition at Any time) IF not ..your engine has issues. This applies to any current /recent production motor, car or bike.
