    Also, most large online distributors offer free shipping in the CONUS on tires. That, or they just have cheaper prices.

    Using the PP's as an example, TireExpress has them at $259.99. Lots of other online places have them at $229 or $239. Shipping in the US is dirt freakin' cheap; even big, bulky, heavy tires are usually $20 shipped coast to coast.
