ok so when i brought my new bike up from oregon i parked it in my parking stall in my underground apartment garage and my apartment manager flipped out and threatened to tow them blah blah blah so i parked it at my buddies house till i got it insured and all that.
now since i finally got it insured again i'm dead set on parking it in my stall that i pay an extra $25 a month for and, now this is the best part, I've parked 2 bikes in previously in the same stall with no hassles for 5 months!
our building has had a new managing company in the last couple months but the manager himself is the same. he's prettymuch making up this crap as he goes i'm sure as i asked him for proof that i can't park 2 bikes in one stall and he wrote a letter saying that i couldn't, but it was nothing that we had decided on before and no papers that we signed.
so i'm basically going to write a formal get bent letter but word it non offensive and proper and all that and was wondering if they can actually do anything and if i'm justified in doing this?
oh and has anybody made a motorcycle "tow proof" if he does loose it some time and decide that he wants to try and tow my bikes?
I'm thinking of a couple of disk locks and taking the handlebars off of my old bike. and they're both positioned in a way that the back wheel of one is almost touching the wall and the front wheel of the other bike is almost touching a cement pillar and they're pretty much touching each other in the middle and the steering is locked on both of them so they can' to anywhere but into cement or the other bike.
and how do towing companies deal with steering locks? or will they even touch the bike?
