Just curious if I have a right to be pissed off here...
I bought my 929 from Chilliwack Honda a while back, using my '89 FZR as trade in. We had figured out a fair price for my FZR when I (honest guy that I am) mentioned that the rear tire was pretty much gone and should probably be replaced before it was sold again. So the sales guy looked up the price of a new rear tire for the bike and took that amount off of the trade-in value. I was happy with this as I knew the bike really should have it before it was sold.
Fast forward to now, and it turns out Azriel_Strife from here ended up buying it from the dealership. However, the rear tire was never replaced! While it doesn't really affect me directly so much, I feel like I've been ripped off somehow. It would have been different if the sales guy had mentioned the rear tire in negotiating as a point in consideration of the bikes value in general, but I had brought it up myself that it should be replaced and the exact cost for a new tire was subtracted from the trade-in so that they could replace the tire before selling the bike.
Do I have a right to be pissed here or am I being an anal-retentive <insert racial slur here>??? Considering going back just to see what they have to say, but at this point I'm gonna make a point of not buying another bike there unless they make this right (give me that $$ back, or give Azriel a new tire for the FZR.)
