You're absolutely right, we had fun that day, didn't we?
Like the races you attend, you always seem to get the inside track & be part of the show.

Yes, right before, I beleive that was his actual traffic part of his riding course.

How 'bout camouflage motorcycle gear or better yet camouflage custom painted motorcycles?
Sorta the opposite of high-vis clothing.

Ha! Don't worry, my wife is inheriting my blue Ninja and she has a pink helmet and pink jacket.

For a couple of years I rode from Richmond to down town Vancouver 5 days a week, owned 5 bikes during that time, the yellow VFR and the repainted Yellow CBR got the most cager att.I spent a lot more time pushed up on side walk riding dark colored bikes and gear,I bought a bright green saftey vest to ware in town, the problem seems to be worse since moving to Kamloops .(it is not important how fast you can corner,it is how fast you can stop when you meet the cow) old country bike saying

Does anyone know where to find those super high visibility jackets that look like they are police issued? How are they in summer? Are they water proof? Enough protection?
After riding in full leathers last summer..... Not gonna do that again.
Who makes them? Maybe I can find more info online.

I met a guy on my riding course, a couple weeka ago, who bought one....super expensive, about $800 if I'm not mistaken. This guy:
It was a nice jacket, and well made, but not close to twice as nice as an Olympia or Teknic equivalent....can't remember, but don't think they have armor in them either.
Keep in mind, like typical Gov type contracts, the stuff is WAYYY overpriced, and the company can't go and sell it to the general public for less than the VPD.....not great value IMO.

there must be more than one manufacture for that stuff, a lot of BMW riders wear them. Saw a similiar one with CE armour for £120.
I guess the ICON Mil Spec over a regular textile will do the trick
