Advertising Rates:

Our standard option is a flat rate per month for insertion of your banner ad into our standard ad rotation. This means that your ad will randomly appear on any of the web pages at BCSB. This is a low-priced option that is a quick way to get the word out about your product or service. There is no guarantee of the number of people that will see it, but your ad will have just as much chance as any other advertiser in our standard rotation. Current numbers float around 6000 views a day.

Banner Performance:

You will receive (at your choice) a report that displays how many times your banner has been viewed, along with how many clicks on each day are given.

You should realize that banner performance will drop off after the initial month or two of the ad campaign. To keep response up you should consider updating your ad banners fairly frequently (bimonthly at least). This will present users with "fresh" banners instead of seeing the same one over and over. We highly recommend that you change your banner when introducing a new product or service.

Graphic and Banner Services:

BCSB will work with you on designing the banners that will display to our viewers. We currently accept JPG,GIF, and FLASH graphic images ONLY. No other formats will be accepted. If you submit your own banners, they must be in 468x60 format and ready to be used. No fee is charged if you submit your own graphical banners.

If you want BCSB to design and produce your banners, we will do so for a fee of $100/banner. This includes JPG or GIF images only. You may also elect to use animated GIFs for no additional charge. Animated GIFs are limited to three frames only. Additional frames will be billed at $20/frame. Animated GIFs are a great way to get the viewer's attention. We can take existing images related to your product or service along with text and produce acceptable banners. For new from scratch banners, we recommend you use a graphic design studio of your own.

Value Added Features:

An announcement will be made in both the front page news and on the BCSB Forum that you are helping support BCSB by becoming a paid advertiser. This will help increase your traffic and "goodwill" as our users are very loyal to our sponsors.

BCSB advertisers are allowed more freedom on our forums as well. We normally do not allow any commercial traffic of any kind on the forums. One account will be created (or changed status of) for you, and this account will be limited to commerical business only, and be able to post in the advertisers forum. At no time should you ever disparage a competitor, or bring your product up in a discussion on an unrelated subject. However, you are free to discuss your product in response to general or specific questions by our members (preferably by PM).

Terms and Conditions:

BCSB relies on advertising to support our website. We reserve the right to refuse advertising from anyone for any reason and the acceptance of advertising on this website does not constitute or imply endorsement by us. We take no responsibility for the actions or advertisements of our advertisers and any problems with our advertisers should be addressed directly to them. BCSB reserves the right to remove advertisements from our website at any time and the advertiser's sole remedy for such action shall be a refund of advertising payments made pro-rated for the remainder of the advertising campaign.

Advertisers should be aware that they may receive unfavorable reviews of their products or services on this website from our users. We will not censor or delete negative opinions of any company, even advertisers. Any comments from our users on the website are the personal opinions of our users and in no way reflect the opinion of BCSB.
