Over near fort langley... the road is called "river road" and a bunch of street racers race there on the weekends...

andyways if you go down that road passed where they race and hang a right at the first street,

it will lead you down a bumpy straightaway, then up a hill on a lefthand curve... this road has about 10 or 12 really good smooth curves that you can take at some great speed and arent very blind (as far as a twisty road goes) and each has plenty of setup time before hand... no decieving turns or decreasing radius's

I believe its 264th as it ends up on 264's right at the freeway.

Yes, the fort langley/aldergrove area is loaded with a bunch of little beauties, but it is a rare find when you discover a few that actual go a fair distance.

that's where I ride a lot. there are a few good twisty stretches, but yes, you do have to look for them. I'm begging you guys, don't heat out the area. it's one of the few relatively cop-free area's we have to ride, and if the residents start to complain, we're out of a good riding spot. that would suck as they are few and far between these days.

I was just thinking about that ride we took last fall, Farhad, when Manny showed us all those little twisty roads in Langley. I had no idea there were such good roads out there.:D

Ya I'd have to agree about there being a lot of nice roads out that way. I've actually been quite boggled how come most the rides put together through this board have been downtown or Vancouver anyway? IMO thats probably the worst place to ride, you guys gota move em out towards the langley area, ok maybe I'm biased because I'm 10 minutes away :)

There really isn't much worth riding on the Lower Mainland at all. You have to go to Washington, the Island or the Interior. The closest good ride is Squamish and the traffic is brutal.

The roads near mission in the Stave Lake area are pretty good.
Dewdney trunk road near 272 street, by the hydro dam has some really nice twisties. Not much speed but on a few you can drag a knee, well not me but I seen others do it:D
