Thanks for the update Frank. I really need to get back to Cali, it's been way too long.
i knew that was coming.... lol
more importantly.... where is the Nor Cal trip report?
the Internet :P
Do you want to see pics of the bikes red frame too?
I suspect it looks a lot like this.....
144330
144332
and its actually Marquez's 8th World Championship title.
I think I must have misread that number from somewhere. Perhaps it was their 1500rpm difference over the 2019 Kawasaki. I'm not sure.
Wasnt the big change though that the Ducati got neutered by 1500RPM, and that completely changed how he had to ride the bike?
Looking forward to seeing the new Honda when it gets announced next...
AF1 doesnt offer group buys......
I know a few Tuono riders, and i'm the only one who's swapped out any suspension components, and based off my time on the Af1 forums, I think your assessment there is quite inaccurate.
From what...
i didnt say base model suspension, and high maintenance costs ;)
Well speaking of middle weights, i'm hoping Aprilia does a 660 Tuono on the new platform. That would be a bike that would really interest me.
what i've heard is that this is a 1000. The next series is S and will be 600cc.
I love how he always brings up something not relevant to the conversation, gets called on it, and then brings up something else equally not relevant. Generally mixed in are lots of 'i met', 'this...
Sorry to burst your bubble, but their Pikes Peaks bikes are tuned by Micah at AF1 in Austin on his dyno.

Great post Frank and congrats on the purchase. We've both been looking at the same bikes, i've just been avoiding the test rides -for now. I've also noticed your posts on H2SXriders, as it's a big...
Frank,
Did you buy the SX?
nevermind, found the answer. You need to do a NBD post....
You would benefit from posting less random internet and Wikipedia quotes of things you have absolutely no actual experience with. I suspect Frank has recently ridden the H2SX, as I know he's been in...
It's pretty damn fun. The switchbacks are so consistent and none are decreasing radius or too tight. The wind at the top made things interesting, but definitely highly rated. Chief Joseph was a...
I possibly rode Beartooth twice today, and there was possibly almost no traffic on either run. :)
pricing finally announced, arriving at dealers in november

I dont know if things have changed, but it was launched as a 2020 Model, with delivery not being expected until this fall.
A few US shops have dyno'd them in the past week. Micah from AF1 posted about it on the Aprilia forum.
The North American owners are going to be more disappointed with their new bike putting down 165 WHP in every gear other than 6th.
