Perhaps you need more dead friends. Or a better imagination.

So your next of kin can get access to your pics and posts (to delete, remove, save, or whatever they or you want). The old system meant that even your lawyer could not get access to them.

So that your friends will be able to say goodbye respectfully, without your page being ripped by folks telling everyone why you are where you are, BCSB style?
There are old riders and there are bold riders. There aren't any old, bold riders.

    Ride safe folks.

ohh yikes... cant post a smiley on that one...

actually i kinda get it, there's a lot of personal stuff that gets tossed up there on a regular basis, i would want someone to have access to it n' offer up some sort of grace should the unthinkable happen

, obviously very little to do with said user who's passed on; some of us do have a lot of friends who keep tabs on us through FB, i can see it being really
tough for some of them to see old pics and such, i would not want somebody to just pull the plug right away either, people need to grieve! its how healing begins

i've taken to post up albums from various trips and i'm kinda surprised how many folks visit and leave kind remarks over time, some of them I have a hard time keeping in touch with due to various reasons,
but i know they can always check out my FB page and see what i've been up to.. It would really suck to have 'em post up some funny comment on an old pic not even realizing the OP is no longer with us...

I have two facebook friends that have passed away, its been a couple years now and I still see happy birthday wishes to them from their facebook friends who don't know they passed away. It would be nice for the appointed family member or whoever to be able to let these people know of the deceased current status....
I am slowly writing a 'life' manual, so my wife knows all of my account numbers and passwords etc in the event I find myself unable to live anymore

Tis probably most, if not every non-spiritually inclined/materialist's wish to draw out some sort of eternal existence via the cyberspace universe ...

... some sort of holograpgically projected, digitalized 'version' of themself.

Oh - wait a minute - that's what some people already think that we are.
I define Hell as having to ride back and forth from Blaine to Tijuana on I - 5 in perpetuity.
