Another example of common sense not being all that common. The motorcycle is 100% at fault IMO, yeah you have a green light but the intersection isn't clear perhaps a little more caution when it's obvious there could be an obstacle ahead.
ICBC would make it 50/50, they would find a way to justify increasing both parties rates.
Church doors are always open to whoever wants to enter, but they're only open to those who are willing to be sheep. The service of God is really service to those self-proclaimed holy men who hold the franchise. Accumulating material grandeur is the goal, not the improvement of the people's lives. Independent thought is discouraged. Raising the individual up is not part of the plan; keeping the flock docile, distracted, and deluded is what it's all about.
100% motorcycle fault, reckless driving, unsafe operation of a motor vehicle, speeding in an intersection, failure to wait for traffic to clear, endangering public safety, .. pretty much broke every rule.
The person that posted that up should get a smack just for doing that and take it down immediately.
Never ride angry or tired or any other way that is distracting. Blame the accident on the gf.

Rider is 100% at fault. Any vehicle in the intersection that got there on a green light has the right of way regardless of whether it was an asshole move that got them there.
The rider in this situation is a total moron. His video will help both insurance companies skewer him.

No trees were harmed to display the above message ..... however a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced
Shitty rider...a quick flick to the left and one to the right and your through. He should have thought of keeping closer to the van. I'm sure a lot of survivors on here would have had no problem with that situation.

Here is a good example of thinking you have a right of way and are not in the right frame of mind to be on the road. No matter how right you think you are...crashing should be the last thing you want for an outcome....I think the law is if you are stuck in an intersection and the light changes you are required to clear it if able to safely...Think if it was a bus and there was no room for dick head to ride between...would it still be ok to run into the side of a bus...stupid is everywhere...just remember drivers are thinking the same shit...just not video recording their stupidness...

#1 rule of the road.
The right to live trumps the right of way.

The car did move forward into the path of the bike. The rider definitely should not have attempted to squeeze through that gap, but the car entered that intersection knowing full well he wouldn't make it through either. Then like a lot of SMIDSY accidents, he was looking where he wanted to go and not paying attention to anything else.
Either way, two wrongs don't make a right. Had the rider waited another 5-10 seconds he would still have his beautiful CBR600 classic.
Right of way wise, vehicles already in the intersection have the right of way. But for obvious reasons this has lower precedence then the 'must make efforts to avoid accident'.
Jaywalker has the right of way even though jaywalking is illegal.
Good video/thread, it shows the basic flaw in system. Too many rules, hard to remember which one is more important. We can't just say the driver is stupid, over the time the system should have been improved and simplified. 0 efforts in that direction by our local entity.
te tee ... te te tee ...... te tee ...te te tee............ te tee .
In this case the car driver never saw the bike till it entered his peripheral vision at 80 kph 2 feet from the front bumper. Maybe if Spiderman had been the diver he's have dodged that.
Or are you just being ironic? You do have a comedy talking person as your public face.
