Good service shop on the North Shore?

My 899 has been running a bit hot - not warning level hot but hotter than it should be under the conditions. Found the typical weeping hole leak indicative of a water pump failure or pending failure when I went exploring.

Out of warranty so considering other options aside from Highroad Van. Live on the NorthShore and work around Kits - what are my options for respected places?

A good place on the Shore would be awesome. Motoconcept trustworthy?

    My

Proximity to me is the last thing important when getting
my bike worked on - as I am am very particular about
who puts their greasy mitts on them - experience (most
of them bad) has taught (jaded?) me...

I had some work done by Ted at Essential Motorcycle
Services (EMS) - not on the N Shore, but I would
take a bike to him again, with no qualms about it

He is a great guy, not a big name shop, has no
Unobtanium Service Rates, and pretty flexible

He was the only guy that worked on my bikes over
the last 10 years where I was happy with the
    outcome...

    YMMV

Live each day like it is your last,
like you will never get another chance...

One day it will be, and you will not.

Nice place reasonable rates we have never had a take back
BCSB had mountains of experience with a lot of things. #1 on that list is pouring out bullshit to dumb questions by the Gigabyte. (TripleTime, 12-10-2014 03:19 PM)

I live in a fairly Gucci neighborhood. Recently a buddy remarked my well-off, white collar neighbors must be sooo happy coming home to see me wrenching on a car, truck or motorcycle in either the driveway or garage. I've always joked that they are going to get together and buy our house from underneath us.

However I am fortunate enough to be on good terms with all of them and not one has an issue with home wrenching ....... thank god.

Good luck in your North Shore search.

Sounds like you definitely need to throw a BCSB backyard summer BBQ.

I for sure want to be seated at the same table as Steve and DNA.

I don't live in the north shore.

just a small town-house complex.. it appears one of the neighbors was a bit over-zealous in her complaints.

just tying to stir shit up, no biggie. I don't ask permission for working on my vehicles, its the reason I bought a house with massive garage

I know you don't, that was directed at the OP.

We bought a non-strata property because I knew I could not handle the issues that arise with strata councils and their minute empire building.

LOL,,,,,yeah, I wanna be there to watch too.

My neighbourhood, I really try to keep things quiet. I'll shut my bikes off as I enter my cul-de-sac, and they often come over and tell me not to turn my bikes off, they want to hear the bikes come in. Crazy.
