    Offshore Manufacturing

Does anyone know how/who I could contact to have a Delrin part manufactured? I already have the CAD file, I just need to find someone to machine it on a CNC machine. The part is about the size of a pack of cigarettes

have you tried shapeways or similar service?

any time i've tried or done anything overseas, they've wanted quantities starting at 1000.

Thanks Scott. No, I haven't tried anyone actually. I have no idea where to start. I know some people have tried to make a part like mine with a 3D printer (home model) and it didn't come out very "finished" looking, and it was weak.

I got some work done 'custom' at a local shop In Port Moody, very good quality.. did small quantities.

this was for work though so i dont know pricing off hand.. Erik (you've met him, zx14R) on here is a machinist, works at Redline (Manufacturing)

this is not something they would take on but maybe he knows someone..

he may be able to point you in the right direction.. he manufactured his own sliders
