nice to see the sun out finally, and while the backroads are certain to still be gritty, I can't resist getting out for a few hours of backroads wandering. I'm thinking Blaine down thru Birch Bay to Bellingham, then obscure ways to Sedro Woolley; followed by more obscurity south to Stanwood; and back home via La Connor / Bayview / Edison, etc.

comfy pace - early season, both for the roads and the riders.

meet at Big Al's in Blaine at 8:30 for brekkie.

nice day! so good to roll for a few hours... about 320 kms, 7 hrs door-to-door. plenty busy south-bound on I-5 as I 'transitted' a couple times, and plenty of LEOs in the busy sectors, but otherwise pretty deserted, as expected. got as far south as La Connor, and never went east of I-5. and VERY spring-time-pretty!
