Duffey Loop East to West

Just got home from a Duffey loop . Ride report: Hwy 12: no gravel, watch for deer and bears (there was one taking a stroll along the highway!). Hwy 99 south from Lillooet to Pemby: some rough bumpy bits, gravel at Joffre Lakes and 22km outside Pemberton, all else clear, watch for deer, distracted cagers and tourists in campers. 88km from Lillooet? I don't know what landmarks are there, just what my odo was at. Pretty much when you start heading down into Pemberton area.

22km East from Pemberton is basically where the tight switchbacks are. They are always sketchy

was it clear enough to see the huge rockslide off Joffre Peak, or were you too 'deep' into the curves to pay attention to that kinda thing?
