    Bike of my dreams

Way back in 1992, I got my full motorcycle licence 30 days after I got my learners. I passed my full licence on my first bike: a 1984 Honda XLR 350.

I passed my full test in the morning. In the afternoon, I went to a Honda demo day at Richmond Motorsports on No. 3 Rd. (as I said, it was back in the day )

"Do you want to ride the CBR 900RR?" I was asked. "Oh yes please", I said. Nary a word about how much expereince I had. No waivers were signed: no fees were charged. Our test ride set out from RMS with just one lead rider from Honda. After a bunch of red lights, the last 4 bikes, including me, got left behind and had to find our own way back.

The 1992 CBR 900RR did an incredible power wheelie going down Alderbridge Way with yours truly scared shitless - in 2nd gear at an indicated xxxkm/h.
