I was fortunate to ride CDG's new wheels in NorCal a few weeks ago on a great road for long enough to get comfy.......outside of the lag, it's a very
impressive package. Not the kick in the pants muscle-car like torque of the 14, but a quick glance done (if you dare) under acceleration, and it's clear
the bike is VERY fast....deceivingly so.
Wind management is excellent for a stock bike, handles a 140-180 pace with ease and simply does not feel like you're hustling along like you are....maybe
the speedo is faulty, lol!
Helluva bike for sport touring, 100% legit.
Big block V8 14R versus Supercharged V6. I can't really think of a better way to put it.
DON'T STUFF THE CAGERS!
more importantly.... where is the Nor Cal trip report?
Here's my rendition of our report from the WIHO 1500 - It was fun. It was hot. The karaoke in Loon Lake WA is incredible - we were welcomed by the mayor and the townsfolk. Below were our loose routes:
Day 1: Sumas WA to Loon Lake WA: https://tinyurl.com/y2jlewq7
Day 2: Loon Lake WA to Grangeville ID: https://tinyurl.com/yxjwa9kv
Day 3: Grangeville ID to John Day OR: https://tinyurl.com/y3mqz9jo
Day 4: John Day OR to Ellensburg WA: https://tinyurl.com/y6a3h64b
I'll let the other dudes chime in. Apologies about the thread jack - not that it actually matters anymore....
Right here: It was fucking awesome! I took my front tire down to the cords. DOWN TO THE CORDS!!! Left turns were scary AF. Luckily, Eureka has motorcycle shops open 7 days per week. Attachment 144344
