    Rider on stolen bike dies

Just heard on CKNW98 that a rider on a stolen motorcycle died of injuries sustained from a crash last night. Somewhere in Surrey, he swung out to pass a line of cars and collided with a suburban turning left. It's not on the CKNW or CKWX websites so it's not confirmed yet but I thought it was worth the thread. Proof that all this karma thing does go round?

If it's in south Surrey.. there was a crash near my house last night on 20th/150th St?

Edit: Other thread said rider was on red bike.

I feel bad for the bike owner....and the guy in the Suburban. One less thief on the planet.

Yeah, I feel sorry for the driver of the Suburban. I hope this incident doesn't haunt him or her.

While I don't believe that bike thieves should die (it's a little extreme, IMHO), I'm not going to lose any sleep over the fact that there's now one less bike thief around.
Work sucks -- let's go riding!

Absolutely he got what he deserved. He was scum and I'm certain this wasn't the first time he ripped off an innocent person nor would it have been his last time. We have 5 billion other people on this planet to worry about.

Those are some pretty harsh words. He was a human being and wishing death upon someone is pretty scary I think. He probably has a mother who is mourning the loss of her son. Did she deserve it?

Yeah, I agree. I don't tend to wish death upon anyone that doesnt deserve it (child rapists, murders, etc..).
