    Different answers from icbc....

I'm trying to buy a 2001 yz426 supermoto conversion bike from the USA. I have been told by the first icbc rep that as long as the title says street bike you can register and insure in BC. *I called again just to make sure, and the second icbc rep told me absolutely not! The second rep told me cause it was originally a dirt bike, they won't insure it as a street bike.*I've always had a street bike, and don't know much about this subject, though I have done some digging and I feel that there could be a grey area that may be icbc would allow it. The vin doesn't have "RUM" and as stated before the title is street bike.*Any thoughts? Thanks*

Worst case scenario would it be insured as a dirt bike? *Thanks for the input everyone.*

no worst case, is that you pay for insurance, get in to a significant accident, and then find out that your policy was never valid and now you're civilly responsible for 100s of thousands of dollars of medical and related expenses.
