Sport Rider editor Kent Kunitsugu followed her around Mid-Ohio at a track day, and said her pace didn't allow him to slack off at all to keep up with her. Impressive, considering it was, I believe, only her second time on a 600, and her first time at this track.
the kids from Celtic Racing are pretty amazing too. PJ is pretty young and was kicking the 250's ass on a 125

"Race day...Greeted with mild weather with temps in the low 70's, Elena riding her 97 Honda RS125, again tasted victory in not only the 125GP race but the 250cc class as well. Myers easily won both 10 lap mains by well over 20 seconds. In the 250 race, she nearly equalled the 125GP lap record, missing out by just a few 10ths with a lap of 1:15.1 and all while running into traffic from OMRRA's usual multi bike,
multi wave start. This last outing caps off Elena's phenomenal 125GP debut with three victories in three starts. Quoting Elena "I wanna say thanks to all my awesome sponsors, family and fans for the great support this year, I can't wait till 2006!""

All I can say, is how embarrassing for the 45-year old dudes that she beats...12-year old GIRRRRRRRL POWER!

Hah, that's awesome. I showed my son those pics and he says "Wow, she's kinda cute". (He's 12 going on 16) I said read the title....... He says 'Holy crap time to scrap the pocket bike, get me a real bike dad".

Go fast to the good fast place , wish my dad would have let me start racing when we where watchin gary , steve,steve and the rest at the hairpin at the old track , i was like 12-14 wanted a 125 gp bike and , can't afford it or your gonna kill your self blah blah blah , i have never forgot that .We live through our kids.
Best of luck to her. I think its great to see a girl out there fighting with the boys.
