just in from Motorcycle Online. Revs to 16200 rpm, displaces 599 again, not 636. Cassette type tranny with slipper clutch, pre-muffler under engine making the under seat can smaller. Overall the bike is smaller than the outgoing 6R/6RR

its a sweet ride but almost no bottom end it is a track bike through and through...and for me uncomfortable

I think it's the most beatifull 600 on the market right now.

I wonder how many customers will be disappointed about the displacement decrease. That was an advantage to buying a 636. But Kawasaki stated that this bike is meant to win trophies, plain and simple. This also from MO: "A gear position sensor is included and its compatible with the semi-automatic shifters (the kind that cut the ignition for a fraction of a second and are now AMA legal) that allow for clutch-less upshifts." And they also state that the engine is now 40mm shorter in length and width, and the first all new 600 Kawasaki engine in 10 years.

while I think its the best looking kawi of all the 07s, I still think the Yami R6 in black is the best looking and performing 600.

J im gonna need your help to stay away from the pull of KAWI...
