i'm not exactly a track denizen, but the couple times I've ridden Thunderhill were certainly big highlights! And turn 8E, the open left-hander before the West circuit breaks off the main circuit, smacked me in the 'ego' more than any other turn I've experienced, on any track: I 'knew' (or at least, 'thought') I could run my CB1000R thru there flat (it's not the fastest track weapon in the world), but I NEVER, EVER could force myself to NOT ease the throttle a bit on entry. That might have been the right thing to do, but, well, without 'going there', you just never know, do you...
