No V4 or V2 yet, bummer
That's what I think too ...... but for the 17 people in Canada that would buy one, Honda just doesn't care for us.

But sweet Jeebus ....... a 1000cc V4 with a full Akra running wide open, Mamma mia!

yes boys, just another inline 4..

word has it the CBR1000RR-R’s motor has the same bore and stroke as the RC213V-S. "That means it’s a
mind-bogglingly oversquare design with the 81mm piston traveling a stroke of just 48.5mm."

thats about as close to a V4 machine we're gonna get.. and seeing as its the big EURO5 upgrade, we're stuck with it for many years to come i'm sure.

for all the braggin' Marquez is doing, boastin' of how great a road bike it is; unfortunately the tank can only hold 16L of fuel.. :(

absolutely terrible, but then i'm gonna get chewed out for even mentioning it.. yeah yeah, its a track only bike blah blah ..

funny guy, just as well.. too rich for my blood :D

sorry guys, it looks like the big bad media machine jumped the gun..

Details are coming out..

Europe will be getting the CBR1000RR-R SP as a 2020 MODEl. And also a CBR1000RR(-R) base model,
the USA is rumored to NOT BE GETTING any new release for 2020, and only the SP version in 2021~~!!!

I got a little excited for a second there but it looks like Canada is not getting an SP nor a new model in 2020..

damnit, whats with all the bloody Rs!! hahahha, it seems HOLESHOT is also jumping the gun

This is the picture shown on their craigslist ad, but HONDA CANADA has it listed as a 2021 MODEL only!! :(

THIS is direct from HONDA.CA :(

Wait and see. Finally a honda superbike that's got the hrc badge. Either model will be crazy expensive, but looks to be
the business compared to their last cbr1000 release which was a turd.

i can agree with this.. i'd say a base model with those credentials would be just about right, even if 'only' an i4 ;)

guess we'll see in 2022 :p

i caught wiff of new dyno testing on the new 2020 R1, vs the outgoing model. 3/4 exhaust both back to back same day,
the new one definitely has more grunt, on top end alone about 5rwhp. but its also up in the mid range n' up round 9.5k rpm
