sorry guys, it looks like the big bad media machine jumped the gun..
Details are coming out..
Europe will be getting the CBR1000RR-R SP as a 2020 MODEl. And also a CBR1000RR(-R) base model,
the USA is rumored to NOT BE GETTING any new release for 2020, and only the SP version in 2021~~!!!
I got a little excited for a second there but it looks like Canada is not getting an SP nor a new model in 2020..
damnit, whats with all the bloody Rs!! hahahha, it seems HOLESHOT is also jumping the gun
This is the picture shown on their craigslist ad, but HONDA CANADA has it listed as a 2021 MODEL only!!
Wait and see. Finally a honda superbike that's got the hrc badge. Either model will be crazy expensive, but looks to be
the business compared to their last cbr1000 release which was a turd.
i can agree with this.. i'd say a base model with those credentials would be just about right, even if 'only' an i4
guess we'll see in 2022
i caught wiff of new dyno testing on the new 2020 R1, vs the outgoing model. 3/4 exhaust both back to back same day,
the new one definitely has more grunt, on top end alone about 5rwhp. but its also up in the mid range n' up round 9.5k rpm
