2023 Ride For Doug - Sunday June 4th - 17th Annual

Ride For Doug is an annual fundraiser ride for Muscular Dystrophy. Over the past 18 years, we've raised over $300,000 in the fight against Muscular Dystrophy.

This ride isn't about the money. This ride isn't about the numbers. This ride is about getting on the road and riding with Doug. How many fundraisers do you go to where you get to ride with the person you are supporting? Once you've ridden with him, you'll never be able to think of Muscular Dystrophy the same way.

Doug uses a custom-built hoist built onto a CanAm Spyder in order to be transfered from his wheelchair to the bike. It's quite the feat of engineering. Unfortunately, my video editing sucks - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-YgxzoaTyRQ

The ride takes the approach of "Sportbike roads, at a cruiser pace". We take a 200km route through some of the finest motorcycling roads in Langley, Abbotsford, and Mission. We end up at a BBQ dinner to celebrate the ride, and win some door prizes.

Registration: 12:00-12:30pm
Ride Leaves: 1:00 pm
BBQ: 5:30pm
Fee: $20 includes both ride and BBQ
