Hi,
I hope its ok to post this here but if not, my apologies mods and feel free to nuke it if required.
Myself and another racer have recently been given the green light by the Calgary Motorcycle Road Racing Association to create a Ducati only class for the 2007 Racing Season.
We have submitted our formal rules to the CMRA and are just waiting on the green light for those before we create rider info packages.
In short though the class will be as follows:
- Trophy Class (no money)
- Mixed Class (Novice, Amateur, Expert)
- 4 valves per cylinder liquid cooled v-twin
- Ducati Frame and Ducati Engines
- 115hp rear wheel limit
- Slicks permitted
These rules would allow for 748, 749, 851, 888, the odd 916 and 996 to compete.
If there are any racers that would be interested in competing in this class next year, please feel free to PM me or email me and I will be happy to add your name to our "info" list and with any luck we can get some more people for the class.
Currently we have 15 interested riders locally with 8 of those being a 100% committment. We would love to have a nice big grid of Ducatis for every weekend.
Thanks for taking the time to look this over and I look forward to hearing from any interested competitors.
Cheers
Kelly
