The rear seat from my 97 gsxr600 wont come off, It worked before. I have all the rear removed except the left and right fairing pieces, so when i turn the key i can see that the mechanism IS still working, so there isn't a broken cord or anything...could it possibly be from leaving the seat on so long it got all gummed up or rusted in the locking mechaism and made it stick.
I need to get in the tail section to fix some of my eletrical, but i can't even get to this point without removing the seat first.
Any ideas? anyone had a problem like this before?...

OMFG, nvm i got it. It was a little rock stuck in the mechanism preventing the wire from pulling any further..what a piss-off. :knife
