this sunday the 29th theres a final practice day at the track, theres a kids track, family class(no jumping),beginner(me),medium and a expert practice session.

alot of us from last weekend are gonna go and check it out as most of us have never ridden on a track, this would be a blast iam sure.My kids are gonna ride so iam sure you can!

Its not FREE.there a practice day fee and a license fee(good for annually).iam guessing 50 bucks for the day for both.

come out and have some laughs.the long term forcast shows good sunday.

Have fun John. The track is great fun although I have never been to the Agassiz track.

Going to do a night ride friday with few others from Squamish to Indian Arm to check out our Nite Rider lights.

Going to see about getting out to Green River Motocross track again saturday. Going to shoot for 2 hrs total ride time hopefully. Green River track is just 20$ drop in fee which seems reasonable, no license required, open track time.

Agassiz, is a good track and fairly easy, but for me, when it rains it way to slik to be fun. If I knew it was going to be dry I would be there, but if there is any chance of rain or the track being wet,,, I AM OUT. So I will probably be heading to Pemby, if it's raining in the Van or the valley, it's usually not there. I don't need an injury from a slick track when the BAJA is only a few weeks away.

JK1 I had my first ride on a motocross track this year after a 24 year break. It was a bit of a break in period for me and it is staring to come back together after a few days out at Pemby now. It is handy having Jumby there to give me pointers and show me the fast lines as he goes off to play with the fast kids. Great fun and wicked fitness. Have fun.

The clip of a lap at agassiz looks good. No tight whoops section! I think I classify for Old Timers Motocross now.

Your're welcome J1K. I had alot of fun taking them. I'll be doing it again next year. Jane showed me the plaques. They looked pretty good.
I bet the track was grueling Especially after 24 hrs.. I rode the marathon course only once. It was pretty challenging for me to say the least.. I'd like to do it again but this time without the worry of holding up the guys racing.
I'm a little slower than them.:) I rode the B course in the dark and that was cool. My first night ride. Were you riding ironman or on a team?

Thanks Gumby. I thought it was one of the best I took.. You were the only guy that got the front wheel that high through the creek. Very cool to watch how the good guys make it look so easy to blaze through the tougher stuff. I don't know the name of the trail I was on, but it wasn't that deep into the lap. It was the first water crossing on the lap and just before you head up to the road crossing and onto woops hill. (I think its called woops hill.)

Ok,, I think I remember that trail,,it got ugly that night, but it was still fun. Thanks for that picture, it's a great shot. I just started riding dirt bikes again after being out of it since 01, I for got how much fun it is,, and how tough it is to get back up to speed. I hope the weather holds out so I can get at least a few more weekends at the Motox tracks before me and Sloan head for the 1000. You are welcome to join us anytime,

John, I have a TTR 125 w/ a bald rear tire, no gear (well besides helmet+gloves), and beginer skills....is there any point in coming out? Are there any good play areas around if I don't ride the MX track?

Cheers
