Anyone added one to their bike? Where's the best place to get one - would prefer digital but anything will do as long as it's small. Are there any backlit ones that will work from 12 volts?

It'll give a good idea of when to expect ice, rather than "it's cold so there may be some around" ....
umm?

if you are relying on a number on a display to find an ice patch for you, you are gonna find youself on the ground.

besides, a temp sensor will do exactly what you've just said. it will tell you what you already know. it's cold so there may be some around. if you can't tell by water vapour in your breath and the fact your visor fogs up....

Who said anything about relying on it? Dude - i started riding in england - i've ridden in bad weather before ;)

It's just good to have extra inidications. It'll also be good in the summer to complain how friggin hot it is ..... :laughing
