Hi,

I'm looking at getting Alpinestars S-MX Bionic Protector Jacket and wanted to know if anyone else has it or recommend something similar.

I have a Joe Rocket Meteor and next season want to move into a leather jacket. Would like to know if it will fit under them comfortably or not.

Many leather jackers have built in soft/hard armour in the shoulders and elbows. You should try on a jacket the way you intend to wear it when you ride. So, if you will be wearing this when you go riding, try on jackets wearing this and whatever other clothes you would normally wear. Just take out the soft and or hard armour otherwise it will feel really weird.

ive got it...i took all the armor outta my current jackets and its wayyyy better with the bionic.

the armor doesnt move around and i feel way safer.

only crappy thing is the velcro on the sleeves tend to get ripped out wehn u put the sleve on, and it stretches the jacket a wee bit more, so once u do it u gotta keep doing it otherwise the jacket is way too loose without it. it also takes a bit to get used to putting on ur jacket/suit. i had to get help my first couple rides with it on, u just cant move around as much. but now its totally fine, its also a hell of a lot hotter with it on.

i just taped the velcro permanetly closed so now its fine.

i wouldnt wear it just by itself...not much abrasion resistance on those nylon pieces, i just wear it inside my leathers all the time.
