what parts from the 10 are you interested in,ya i sent a pm, nobody else races zx7r's
What have you got? If you do Carbon Fiber I can tell you which parts wear out first in a crash. If you can see in the pic the bars and pegs are so small that the fairing grinds the edges of the fairing. Some sort of Muffler cover would be sweet too. I'll be out on Saturday at the Mission track for the TT. Stop by the pit.

Hey Bernie, I hear keeping it shiny side up really helps out the fairings! :devillook:

Yah yah yah :laughing
It's like the old saying.... "you dig a ditch and you're a ditch digger, you build a bridge and you're a bridge builder but you highside one zx10........" or was that something to do with a goat? :laughing
....Anyways, Keith has some pretty good ideas for my bike and hopefully I don't have to test them out to much on my shiny bits.:eek

yes i was, for the best alltime superbike
Oh c'mon...I mean I'm a huge fan of the 7, and it still carries weight (figuratively and literally) as one of the best looking Jap sportbikes ever, and it use to be a competitive superbike...but it's 2006, and the most recent update to this bike was a decade ago. The 600s from the last 5 years are lighter faster and usually cheaper to race. Plus there's no class in which an old 750 would be competitive, unless you're talking about big $$$. Go to the track and you'll see more old F2s than you will ZX7s.

Jaybo and his bro are the only two people I can think of...and there was one guy I use to see when I was a track regular a couple of years ago.

It's a pretty bike, and it's cool for nostalgia reasons...but unless you buy yourself a time machine, you're not gonna find too many racers making it their first choice. That's all.

Kit05 the only thing missing from your statement is you should have put imo at the end. (imo, lol)

I've been nothing but happy with my 7r's but it's a bit of a stretch to call it the best superbike. the wins just aren't there.
Harps is right. the bike has a following and the looks to make it a classic... but the performance is a little lacking.
I picked my street 7r but the track 7r's just sort of "found" us. that said they've been great on the track, but it is a little hard when you're getting your ass handed to you by 600's -they make more hp, and weigh less. but it's not just the bike, i know i have to go faster, and weigh less too lol.
as stated I like my bikes, but i know we'd both jump at the chance to use a new 600cc bike on the track.
