It looks like the weather may hold for Sat.

Here's the low down:

Meet: 8am Campbell River store / Gas station 176th which turns into 15th and 8th ave. Just before the truck crossing.

Route: Whatcom lake, Old 99, FS Grand, Sedro Wolley, South Skagit hwy, Marblemount, South Skagit Motor sports, Chuckanut drive and back home.

Dress warmly and ride appropriately.

Autumn Run lots of leaves.

We were bombing down the I-5 when I caught a glimpse of something. Realizing a bit later that my DH book decided it didn't want to stay in the tank bag anymore. Well I guess we were winging it. The Autumn leaves on the Skagit river were in full colour. We stopped and I took a last picture of my V-strom before i trade it in for a DRZ400S. Waterman you were right about the cops. Out in the bonnies on South Skagit hwy we past two troopers in their forest green cars. These were quite hard to see with the conditions. No tickies though. Had lunch in Marblemount. The locals are sure nice down there. Chris was like a kid in a candy store, buying an Arai helmet, gloves and boots at South Skagit Motorsports. I purchased the Faster trilogy The Doctor, The Tornado & The Kentuky Kid. Come on Nicky lets place well tommorow in Portgugal Gp. Actually I was at Laguna Seca in 05 when the video was filmed maybe I can see myself on the Vid. Started to head back home cut off the I-5 at Alger to find Chuckanut drive. Did a full circle and came back to the I-5. Tried again and missed the best part of Chuckanut. Oh well ! .

Good end of season ride.
