Alright guys I just talked to M.A.S. the guy with the dyno and he just told me that he would give everyone 3 hits on the dyno (cold, warm and hot) and let you know how far out your jetting is and so on as well as give you the print out. Right now he usually is not in on Saturdays, BUT if we get 10 or more how want to come in he'll do it on a saturday and give us his undivided attention. This is the same guy who goes to RMS I think he said 3 times a year. But we'll get him all to our selves.

So remember we'll need at least 10 POSITIVE confirmations min. to get in on a Saturday, OH ya and I almost forgot the important part, the price????

$25.00 for the 3 runs.

Let me know if you're interested.

1) Adam
2) Jim

7) AlphaQ
8) thr1
9) Human
10) vreckster
11) blitz
12) RyanR
13) jonathan

i dunnno what this (dyno) means exactly but it sounds like fun. :p

it's when they tell you how much HP/torque your engine makes right?

and all sorts of fun stuff like that?

Yup, all sorts of fun like that. ;)

It's basically the same as what they use at Aircare, but the point of it is to figure out where your power curve is and how much hp/torque you put out at the rear wheel. It'll be loud, it'll be smelly, and it's goin' to be cool!

I'll get in contact with M.A.S. over the next few days to see what kind of plans we can make, I'ld just like to have a nice figure of guys to present to him and he'll be able to tell me how much time each one will take. Then we can do it in sort of a priority bases, who ever has to leave for work in the afternoon will get on the dyno first and work our way down the list. So it would be nice if everyone was honest as to the times they have to leave so that everyone gets a fair chance to get their bikes on the dyno.

I'm not in, but can I watch? (You can fill in your own jokes here)

I don't see why not you should be able to watch.

Why do you not want to particapate? It's not like we want you to get on the dyno. :tredmill :laughing I'm doing it to see how much hp and torque the RC30 has lost. :tredmill :(

It's a valuable tool for sure, but I just couldn't see another man taking my baby to redline ecstasy. Oh, the shame of it.

Oh yeah! We finally get something concrete! I like the idea of a late March, early April date. We seem to have enough interest, so now we just have to pick a date and go from there.

Where will it be setup? If I had a big yard I would say bring the dyno over and make it into a BBQ (I have no idea if the equipment is that mobile) but either way it will be nice to see what my baby can turn! :)
