the best mod by far that i have done to my bike would have to be a set of forged wheel makes the bike feel completely different and more consistent. could tell an awesome change in power to i have done just about all the bolt on items that you can to my r6 and the power gains were good but just me putting the wheels on my gsxr it made all the difference wondered why i did not go that route before. working on the suspension is is a plus on these bikes i think that it is the best money you can spend. i have a hyper pro damper i also put in nology iridiums bmc air filter new sproket and chain same amount of teeth but about 3/4 lbs lighter and about twice as strong. i upgraded to galfer brake and throttle lines the throttle worked really well the break was about the same just more comfortable knowing i have the braided lines now. also have a power commander usb III and an ignition commander which in my opinion made the power commander actually useful. i have not changed the exhaust yet kinda seeing what is coming out for the k6's still, right now i am stuck on the micron but they are coming out with an exhaust about every month now. so i can wait some. can't wait to take off some more weight with the exhaust now my wet weight is now 398 from supposedly 411 which i did not check before my mods but it definately feels lighter. the exhaust i am expecting to loose 15 lbs or more so that is a plus on the diet side of things lol. my peak horsepower is only up 2 hp at the motor but i am putting almost 4 more down at the wheels and my torque is up .6 lbs at the motor and 1.1lbs at the wheels definately feels like a new bike after the full exhaust system is on i want to take the 112 at the wheels and try to make it to 121 we will have to see how that goes and i want to try to add another 1 lbs of torque at the wheels. that is my project on my k6 now that i look at i am almost finished only about 1500 more dollars i have put in about 3000 already so i will be content all in all out the door and everything i will have 13000 grand on a new bike that is awesome just hope i don't try to do the same to my 749s i plan on getting next summer. lol if you have any ideas i am open or just let me know what you did on your bike.

The best thing I did was convert everything over to Husky parts. It's now A complete 285lb Husky SMR 610 well almost I kept the GSXR tire valve covers but they were aftermarket dice.

But if this isn't possible bolt on a cage and 12 bar and stunt away.

i got my my yammi r6 for the wheelies and all just kinda tried to go full racer with this bike not done but working on it i think i have an awesome start it beats my buddies k6 750 when we just mess around draggin and through the turns but he still gets me on the roll on but not by much from about 60 to 120 he only pulls about 1 bike ahead of me and that really happens between 60 and 80 so i think when i finish i should take him he has a slip on yoshi and bmc and power commander that is it everything else is stock. through the back roads it is a different story i think i have got my bike tuned out to the max with the stock forks and shock the hyper pro helped alot so did the wheels.

id do something like this ,only with a harris swingarm and ohlins superbikes to top it off.I know the owner ,he could have that stuff in a heart beat ,hed rather be drunk in mexico with the wifey instead .......(what kind of priorities are those ??????:devillook )

Marchesini forged aluminum wheels, Braking front wave rotors, Brembo 19x18 brake master cylinder, Custom cut rear rotor, Custom braided lines front and rear, Woodcraft clip-ons, Vortex top triple clamp, Vortex fairing stay, Pazzo clutch lever, Ohlins rear shock, Ohlins top mount steering damper, Racetech front springs, Gilles rear-sets, Gilles chain adjusters, Clear Alternatives taillight, Yoshimura edition race glass, Luimoto seat cover, Custom headlight with 2 projectors and PIAA bulbs, Macmoto carbon fiber ram air ducts, Macmoto carbon fiber front fender, Macmoto carbon fiber exhaust hanger, Yoshimura full TI system with TRC end can, secondary throttle butterfly's removed, NRC stator cover,

personally id take a crashed 06 gix 600(dime a dozen) ,put a 750 bore it to 800,showa factory 54mm forks with billet clamps ,pvm forged ,carbon body work ,brembo hp full kit, endurance tank ,mini carbon exhaust ,aim gauge, single headlight, power commander,PP race.

then spend tons of money on track days and hire someone to explain to my wife why we have to eat soup and bread for the next 15 years .

that is a beautiful bike i went with the 10 spoke galespeeds i like them alot i do love the bronze and black look that is why i almost bought a 636 but i am glad i got the gsxr. you don't know where to get the carbon fiber air inducts for k6 600 or 750 do you. next year i am going to get into the track days i live about 30 minutes from road atlanta so i am kinda prepping my bike through the winter (still ridding though) but plan on getting a 749s about april next year so this bike i am working on will be my track bike. just gotta go through nesba and all too. not real sure if i want to get into racing but i do want to keep the option open but i am definately going to get some experience on the track.

yeah it is a beautifull bike but for the extra 30000 k i could have a any litre japanese bike stomp it. plus i don't like the feel of the mv motor really twitchy great if you are going to keep it pegged out but for ridding on the streets it gets old. never rode the tamborini but have the mv4 not to mention the xerox ducatti stomps the tamborini. would love to own one but i could not think about the price difference and think that i got a better deal or motorcycle for the money.
