Bloody COLD ride...

Well it was not snowing and not raining, so I thought I would go for a little ride--just to get familiar with riding a bike again after a three year layoff.

And while it was nice to ride again, it was just too cold for the riding gear I had on. I ended up shortening my ride...to about ten minutes! :) I did chat [briefly] with a fellow on a blue R1 with a Yosh can while riding up #10 towards Langley, so if it was one of our members--Hello!

Hopefully it gets warmer soon so I can enjoy some longer rides. Either that or not be so much of a wuss and dress warmer. ;)

If you have ever ridden a TLR, you know that you never have to worry about that! Those things get nice and toasty down there. :)

Maybe in July, but nothing could cut through the kind of cold we're having right now. My VFR would kick up some righteous heat in the summer, but the fans didn't even kick in when the air temp dropped below 8C when I could have used it.

With warmth and cool temps come condensation and fungus...whatch out, you'd better spray that:laughing .
