My local insurance dealer get me a quote from CPLUS Insurance and it's much cheaper then Beacon and Megson. Just wondering if anyone else has insurance from CPLUS? I've just never heard of them... But I figure it can't be that bad if my local insurance office is recommending them...

Thanks!

I think they where $20-30 cheaper then Megson, but their deductible is $500 vs $1000 for Megson.

Beacon wanted ~$500 for the year compared to CPLUS which was ~$330...

Chutter is really not an Insurer. They are an MGA. They place insurance through their insurers. They are kind of like a wholesaler for the broker. Chutter is a somewhat large MGA in this region. I am sure the risk is placed with a large Insurer so you should be fine. below is the web site for the company. But if something happens i hope you don't have to deal with who they use for claims in other areas. They are not that kind to deal with!

Lloyds of London is huge and is made up of syndicates. I won't go into all of that or you will fall asleep at the computer. Your safe with Lloyds, they used to underwrite ships back in the days and write weird things like Pamela Anderson's Rack. below is the web site. I see them a lot on large property files as one of the insurers.

We use chutter for a certain amount of stuff primarily trailers although I still prefer to use Beacon for bikes as Aviva is the underwriting company and generally has fantastic claims service, we've yet to have any claims throught Chutter.
As Lloyds doesn't have an actual office here I'm always questioning how the service will be. Don't get me wrong Lloyds is Lloyds but there are many other factors envolved.
