i agree....you wont look cool if your bike is wrecked and you in the hospital....!!You're putting FAR too much trust for your life into the hands of our extremely poor lower mainland drivers if you go with no mirrors. Also the need to spend extra time shoulder checking to make up for the lack of the prevue given by decent mirrors means you're blind to what the cars are doing in front of you for far too long.
Yeah it looks cool and racy but is it worth the extra risk of a crash for the look?
Now ALTERNATE mirrors is another thing entirely. You can go a little smaller and have them mounted somewhere else and still have the advantages without adding a lot of extra risk.
Given that this is posted in the new riders forum:just got my bike a while ago ....hooray...:rockon
thinking to do some work on my bike, but i realized it would be cooler if
i take down the side mirrors...
can i take them off ... ?
is there a law that motorbike has to attach the mirrors on .. ?
And conversely, Are other drivers good enough that you do not need mirrors??Given that this is posted in the new riders forum:
1) Are you a good enough rider to absolutely not need mirrors?
